When on a holiday to Cancun one of the must-sees is the "Hotel Zone". This name was given to the spur of land conveniently broken down in to sections each section having enough late night bars, shopping villages, cinemas and waterparks to keep you from wandering too far. However, we suggest you do go wander, all the way into Cancun's old town, and explore the taverns, markets and shops of the real Cancun.
A shopping spree in Cancun offers a lot of entertainment. Head for La Isla on Kukulcan Boulevard. It has designer and souvenir shops and many restaurants. On Sunyaxchen and Tankah, you will find the Market 28, which is a little more authentic and is a great place to buy some good souvenirs.
