All filming and photography at Birmingham Airport (BIA) must be authorised and accompanied by a member of the Airport’s External Relations Team.
For any filming/photography that is actioned on-site and does not have a direct relevance to BIA the following charging structure applies. Please be aware that this is for guidance only and the exact charge will be determined by a number of factors, such as size of crew and time of filming.
In addition to the costs indicated below, any larger project, which requires a considerable amount of pre-planning and preparation time, is likely to incur an admin fee. This will be calculated once more information is submitted.
Landside
There is a charge of £350.00 per hour plus an escort fee of £30.00 per escort per hour.
Airside
There is a charge of £500.00 per hour plus an escort fee of £30.00 per escort per hour.
The number of escorts for each filming/photography event will depend on the nature of the filming/photography.

Once you have submitted your request you will be required to provide:
- A certificate of Public Liability Insurance (to be determined by nature of filming)
- A full Risk Assessment (s)
- Storyboard/synopsis of piece
