Paul Kehoe, CEO of Birmingham Airport has been appointed to Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership’s (CW LEP) board, a partnership designed to grow the economy of the area.
Paul joined Birmingham Airport as chief executive officer in 2008 and was previously chief executive at Bristol International Airport.
He started his career as an air traffic controller in the Royal Air Force having worked for a variety of companies in the industry including British Aerospace plc, Serco Aviation and TBI plc which included being appointed to the main board of TBI plc as operations director.
As well as Paul’s appointment, Dr Richard Hutchins of Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) and Karl Eddy, partner at Grant Thornton, were also made directors of the CW LEP.
Sir Peter Rigby, chair of the CW LEP, said: “The three directors are not only experts in their field but are also outstanding business people who have a real interest in helping Coventry and Warwickshire thrive.
“Their appointment will significantly strengthen what is already an excellent board of directors who are now driving the LEP forward very successfully.
“I know they are looking forward to helping Coventry and Warwickshire achieve its undoubted potential in creating jobs and helping the economy improve.”
