A witch, a vampire and a pumpkin carving competition are among the spooktacular delights customers can enjoy at Birmingham Airport (BHX) this Halloween weekend.

From now until 31 October, there is a blow-up pumpkin for children to play with as well as sweet giveaways** and photo opportunities** with a witch and a vampire wandering around the terminal.

"We hope these spooky festivities will add an extra touch of fun and excitement to people’s travel experience," said Stuart Haseley-Nejrup, Head of Customer Experience at BHX.

The BHX pumpkin carving competition is currently live and open to the public. To take part, please carve your pumpkin (It must be airport, aviation, or travel themed), take a photo of it with the hashtag #spookfestbhx, and post it on your own Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. (Terms and conditions apply.)

The deadline for submissions is 25.59 on October 31, 2023. Three winners will be selected based on the originality, skill, and relevance of their pumpkins. They will receive £25, £20, and £10 vouchers respectively, redeemable at any store within BHX.
