Leaving the car park:

Once you’ve got back from your break and are off the aircraft, leave the terminal building, and head straight to the car park. There are 6 pay stations available, where you can pay by credit or debit card, before you continue to the exit point. Please note, all our pay stations are now cashless. If you pay at the pay station the barrier will raise without the need to insert the ticket. Don’t panic if you forget to pay at the pay station, you’ll be able to pay using your credit or debit card at the exit barrier. However, if you do pay at one of the pay stations, the exit barrier will automatically rise without you having to search for your ticket.

If you experience any problems at the barrier, please press the button for assistance and our Control Centre team will be only too happy to help.

Blue Badge Holders

Car Park 1 has 56 bays set aside for disabled drivers. If you’re a Blue Badge holder, you’ll need to display a permit or your blue badge while you’re on your break. To do this, you will need to go to the nearest Cabin to fill out a form and collect your permit. If you want to take the blue badge with you, then please make sure you display the permit in the window, which is effectively a temporary blue badge.

Please remember to bring all the details from your confirmation email, including the reference number, as this allows us to process your permit more quickly.

Once you’ve got your permit, head to Car Park 1, where you’ll be directed to your space. All the Blue Badge spaces are conveniently located right next to the pedestrian exit at Car Park 1.

If you’re arriving by motorcycle, we have some dedicated motorcycle spaces available in Car Park 1. You will see a temporary designated sheltered area for motorcycles within the Permit Holder bays on Level 0. If the motorcycle spaces are full, please press for assistance at the entry lane, exit lane or one of the Pay on Foot machines located within the car park and our friendly Control Team will be only too happy to help.
