Blue Badge Parking Options

All the car parks at Birmingham Airport are suitable for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility.

Disabled Parking

Our multi-storey Car Parks 1, 2 & 3 offer blue badge parking bays on the ground floor, and all have lift access to the upper levels. Birmingham Airport’s off-site parking area, Car Park 7, also provides disabled parking spaces, payment machines, and a free, wheelchair-friendly shuttle bus. All other on-site car parks at Birmingham airport have blue badge bays.

How to park using your Blue Badge at Birmingham Airport

We offer our Blue Badge visitors 30 minutes free parking in the Premium Set Down car park. To take advantage of this service, when you’re ready to leave take your vehicle registration number and Blue Badge to the NCP Customer Service Office, which you’ll find in the Premium Set Down car park, and that 30 minutes will be validated to you. If you’re going to be longer than 30 minutes, you’ll find that normal tariff charges apply and you will be charged. If you need to pay, this can be done at a pay machine (cash or card) or at the exit barrier (card only).

If you want to use the Blue Badge parking bays in Car Parks 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 but do not want to leave your own blue badge in your vehicle, you’ll first need to present your Blue Badge to the customer service desk located on premium set down car park. You’ll be asked to fill in a form, and then be provided with a temporary permit to display in your vehicle windscreen, allowing you to continue your journey without incurring a Parking Charge Notice for not displaying a Blue Badge.
