Birmingham Airport offers a free aircraft viewing area, whether you follow aircraft arrivals and departures keenly, want a family day out for the kids to see aircraft up close or just want to come and observe the comings and goings on the airfield.
As the area is located in Car Park 5, if you are arriving by car and parking here, normal car park rates apply.
The aircraft viewing area provides picnic benches and a great view of the runway. Location: Within Car Park 5 next to the airfield perimeter fence, there are signposts to direct you to the spot.
