From the 22 September 2026, all passengers booking Express Lane will receive a new style confirmation email which will contain one QR code per booking and should be presented at the Express Lane entrance.
All passengers that have booked Express Lane prior to 22 September will receive updated email confirmations on the Saturday before they travel.
Please note existing booking confirmation emails with individual QR codes per passenger are no longer valid.
There is no Express Lane to Security in Zone A; all customers with an Express Lane ticket should head to the security entrance at Zone B.

To ensure we continue to deliver the express lane experience this facility provides there is a restriction on the number of tickets for each time slot. If tickets have reached capacity then the service is taken off sale. Please be mindful that only express lane tickets booked through our official birminghamairport.co.uk website, or through certain airline partners, are accepted at our airport.

If you're travelling with children, don't forget that children aged 4 and under go free but must be travelling with a paying adult. Express Lane is only available for Zone B Security.
