Airlines and Destinations FAQs

You can find all the destinations we fly to on our Where we fly page.

All check in desks are located on the ground floor in the terminal. To find your airlines specific check in location and contact details please look at our Airline directory page.

When you arrive at the airport, there are Check-in sign posts outside the terminal building, which will direct you to your check-in location via Doors A, B or C depending on your airline.

You can also find your check-in information, including desk numbers and location, on the flight information screens as you enter the main terminal building. Depending on your airline there are also several automated check-in kiosks available for check-in.

If you’ve checked in online and have a boarding pass, all you need to do is drop your hold bag off (if you have one) at the relevant airline check-in desk/ kiosk. If you have oversize or extra luggage that you haven’t already paid for online, you can present these to the airline agent at the check-in desk for assistance.

Please note: Check-in desk locations are subject to change - please check the flight information screens in the terminal when you arrive at Birmingham Airport.

Most airlines have this facility, but not all.

We recommend you contacting your airline directly in advance of your travel to confirm. Airline contact numbers can be found here.

Information about new routes, destinations and other airport news can be found in the Latest News section of the Birmingham Airport website.

While the airport is open 24 hours, please note that we do not offer dedicated sleeping areas. While limited facilities are available, for a more comfortable overnight stay, we suggest considering one of the nearby hotels. More information on these options can be found here.
