The metro line connects the airport directly to the city centre, including key stops like Syntagma Square and Monastiraki. The journey from the airport to Syntagma Square takes typically around 40 minutes. Trains run approximately every 30 minutes from 6:30 AM to 11:30 PM.

There are also rail options and buses that serve the city centre and other surrounding routes making access into the main tourist spots convenient and affordable.
