What to expect in Tivat
No, this is not Monaco…but the luxurious landscape of Tivat, in Montenegro.
Once a modest and ordinary town, Tivat went through a major remodelling of its now magnificent marina Porto Montenegro, where super-yachts and designer luxury shopping reside.
Although a big portion of Tivat is modern, you can find traces of history in here – Renaissance Summer House Buca in the centre of city, Ostrvo Cvijeca with sacred monuments, Gornja Lastva, the old nucleus, the magnificent beach at Plavi Horizonti and the island Sv. Nikola.
Culture in Tivat
Many travellers come here for the calm warm Tivat sea, suited to swimming, sailing and canoeing and the pleasant stretch of beaches.
Tivat unreservedly cherishes the Mediterranean, coastal, and mostly original Boka cuisine. During summer months you’ll enjoy their signature grilled fish, freshly caught in the Tivat bay.
