Jet2.com and Jet2holidays celebrate taking off to Jerez for first time
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have marked the launch of Jerez as their newest destination for Summer 25, after their inaugural flight departed from Birmingham Airport this morning (Friday 2nd May).
The busy flight signals the start of the companies offering flights to Jerez for Summer 25, opening up holidays to the stunning Costa de la Luz region.
With weekly Friday services operating from Birmingham Airport up until 31st October 2025, customers and independent travel agents in the West Midlands can now access the beautiful Spanish region for the first time this summer.
To mark their inaugural flight to Jerez, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays held a celebration at the airport this morning. Holidaymakers travelling on the first flight were greeted with a VIP welcome at the boarding gate, and vouchers were also handed out, to help get them into the holiday spirit.
