November Passenger Figures for Birmingham Airport

Passenger figures for November show that over 760,000 passengers travelled through Birmingham Airport in the month.

In total 768,419 passengers flew through Birmingham with long haul traffic seeing the most significant rate of growth with an increase of 1% year on year.

Scheduled traffic accounted for 89 per cent of the total, with charter passengers making up the remaining eleven per cent.

Charter traffic overall grew by 11% and saw expansion on services to Palma de Mallorca (+262%), Hurghada (+109%), Malaga (+91.2%), Sal Island (+37.7%) and Gran Canaria (+4.1%).  

Scheduled traffic saw significant year-on-year growth to Hamburg (+104.3%), Prague (+74.7%), Krakow (+68.1%), Larnaca (+36.2%), Warsaw (+33.8%) and Lanzarote (+29.2%).
