Birmingham Airport (BHX) has continued its switch to more energy-efficient lighting with a high-mast LED upgrade. All lighting located on the terminal side of the airfield has been upgraded from high-pressure sodium (SON) to LED as part of a transition that is forecast to save 125,000 kWh of electricity, and 26 tonnes of carbon, per year.
